Window, you liberate me. I see
myself in you. Crystal coolness
against my ragtag skin. You heal
me and tell me of the worlds allure,
yet you remain closed, like
a guard. Watching and waiting. All
dissipates around you when
I'm by your side, and your walls
turn to dust. Oh windows, eyes
of the world, I loose myself in you.

Ok, so we had this poetry workshop last week and we read some of Neruda's odes and had to write our own, so this is came out.
